I am a PhD student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Bern, specializing in econometric methods. My research focuses on developing novel estimators and ensuring they are accessible to researchers worldwide.
Alongside my research, my passion for simple and elegant applications of statistics motivated me to start this blog. Through it, I have produced analyses on topics ranging from education to housing and politics, some of which have garnered media attention.
I have authored R
packages, produced data-driven analyses recognized by the media, and contributed to several policy work funded by prominent institutions. In Portugal, I was Research Fellow at PROSPER (Center of Economics for Prosperity) at Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics, where I also taught courses in Econometrics and Statistics.
